The map combines six of the game's original biomes-rough stone, forest, plains, valleys, mesas, and ocean- along with a new biome, the Titan jungle. The world of Titan has a lot of unexplored territory. The terrain isn’t flat and is full of ravines and loose blocks. The landscape is home to dangerous, colossal dinosaurs.
While each player can explore the map at their leisure, there are some different environments beyond the player's natural view. One such area is located in the west where a large glacier hides numerous cave entrances. The volcano in the north is also accessible by boat and there are several mines located throughout the map.
The map also features an in-game ship. Players must build their own ship to use it. The ship can be built at a port near the northern shore or in the center of the map.
Once the ship is built, you can use it to navigate around the map. The loaded map limits the player's ability to see beyond certain areas.
The island is isolated by large bodies of water, and there are very few ports on the map. Long-distance players might find it challenging because of the island's location. The island seems to be connected to the western and eastern shores by a bridge, but the island is too large to reach from either side.
While the island may have small caves that could be explored by the player, they can only travel a short distance to the northern shore before becoming stuck. In fact, the player's quest for a safe landing spot on the island might be impossible if the player's ship is damaged or destroyed.
The island may have a few areas that can be walked around. The map is not always safe for newcomers. Players should be prepared to encounter dangerous creatures, such as raptors. They have a tendency of charging into players when they're near.
A few mountains rise above the water on the island. The player might even have to swim through the mountains to get to the island's southern side.
The map has many dangers, but there are some safe areas in which players can find other players. Several villages appear near the northern and western shores, while a small fishing village is located near the eastern shore.
